LED Screen at the Roller Hockey World Cup in Angola

December 13, 2013

Mondo Iberica once again played a leading role at a great moment in sporting history, as Africa was the venue for the Roller Hockey World Cup for the first time, and all the sporting facilities bore the Mondo stamp.

The 41st World Cup was held in Angola from 20 to 28 September 2013, going down in history as the first African country to organise this event.

The main venue of the World Cup in Luanda, had a modern central four-sided screen, with LED technology and with full-colour graphic surface of almost 60 m². Mondo also developed specific software for this hockey competition so the screen could be used as a scoreboard as well as to reproduce multimedia contents: Video, fixed images, advertising, etc.

The Mondo technology enabled the public to follow up-to-the-minute results of each match without missing any details of the best moves over the multimedia screen.
